THE COLOURS OF FOLK ART

The Short-term exchange of groups of pupils was held by Ṣcoala Gimnazială “Nicolae Iorga’ in Focşani, Vrancea, Romania 2-5 March 2020. It was the first meeting with students within the Erasmus+ KA229 project “Different Colours of Us”.

The Short-term exchange of groups of pupils was held by Ṣcoala Gimnazială “Nicolae Iorga’ in Focşani, Vrancea, Romania 2-5 March 2020. It was the first meeting with students within the Erasmus+ KA229 project “Different Colours of Us”.

- Pärnu Waldorfkool, Pärnu, Estonia (4 students, 2 teachers)
- The Abbey School, Faversham, UK (5 students, 2 teachers)
- Hexham Priory School, Hexham, UK (3 students, 3 teachers)
Activities:
- We enjoyed a visit to the hosting school and introduced our countries and folk traditions to the partners.
- We learnt about Romanian folk traditions, met several local artisans and enjoyed a fantastic concert.
- We had an amazing 2-day trip to the Karpathian mountains where we continued our investigation into the Romanian spirit and the process of getting to know each other.
