THE COLOURS OF STORY-TELLING
8 November-11 November 2021, Hexham (UK)
"The Colours of Story-Telling" marked a much-awaited plot twist in the project course. The event was organised as a blended mobility. A group of teachers and students from Favesham (UK) could attend the meeting in person and enjoy a local programme while other partners took part in a virtual mobility, which included online sessions and local arts and crafts activities.
During the project week, partners introduced each other their cultural heritage and local traditions. The focus was on the hitorical landmarks in each location and on wintertime celebration. Students learnt about each country and participated in quizzes where they could test their memory and knowledge. Students enjoyed the informative lessons as well as the local activities.
A gallery of students works is available here.
In addition to the project week, the partners focused on the topic of story-telling throughout the course of the project:
- greater focus on literature and stories in language lessons;
- heritage-related school trips to compensate for the missed Erasmus+ trips;
- drama performances, exhibitions, poetry-writing, etc.
